I've worked in the field of Graphic Design for twenty four years as a classically trained graphic designer, originally teaching Foundational Students before moving into artworking for print in Point of Purchase, before emigrating to London with a shift into Digital.
Over the last four years, since 2017, I've had the opportunity to revitalise brand identity for a London-based Managed Services Provider, including a complete rebuild of the organisation's website from scratch, design and build of thought leadership and insight content, assisting in extending social media reach, as well as managing email campaign creation and deployment.
My focus lies largely in working with stakeholders in the business to understand and interpret their requirements using my own understanding of visual communication, while at the same time working continually to simplify design within my work across all media.
I have been involved in projects covering various verticals as both a visual and user interface designer over the course of my career, including visual design packaging for clients such as Cadbury and Disney, and Microsites for organisations such as Dreamworks, Dell, Aviva, British Land, Hit Entertainment, Eidos Square Enix and the Discovery Channel.
I've also worked in game interface design and build, utilising both scratchbuilt and pre-supplied content.
I believe in trying to creating graphic design that is simple, functional and beautiful, while also observing contemporary forms within the discipline.
